Liv Gussing Burgess

Liv GussingLiv is committed to helping individuals and teams achieve their full potential and she's able to draw upon an immense wealth of experience from right around the world. Her background in hospitality management - including 14 years with Aman Resorts, in which she opened and ran luxury hotels helped her develop exceptional people skills and a passionate customer focus. Her seven years as General Manager at the acclaimed Amandari in Bali earned the hotel numerous awards including top ranking worldwide in Travel & Leisure's World's Best Service Awards and repeated top-10 rankings in Conde Nast Traveller's Gold List.

An Ivy League graduate from Cornell University's prestigious Hotel School, Liv grew up between Switzerland, Sweden and East Africa. She has since spent much of her career in Asia and is now based in London. These strong cross-cultural influences inform her work and allow her to tackle client issues from a range of different angles.

Liv is grounded by a deeply-rooted empathy for others. Her ability to connect with everyone, regardless of their background, helps to put people immediately at ease. Outside of her working life in leadership development and coaching, she also devotes time to Cornell University and serves on the President's Council of Cornell Women and the Dean's Advisory Board. When not working, Liv loves exploring new places with her family, enjoys eating, sports and reading.
