Asia IN the NEW millennium by Gaia Grant

The only constant about change is it will happen, and Asia is certainly going through a challenging transition into the new millennium. Some companies are battening down the hatches to cope with this period of rapid uncertainty, while others see this time as an opportunity to re-evaluate, assess and move forward as market leaders.

We have been privileged to work with some of the biggest companies in Asia, those who are willing to step into the future. Andersen Consulting and Deutsche Bank are leading the way for e-commerce, for example, recognising that although the future is very hard to predict someone has to be there ready when whatever will happen happens.

I believe that to be ready requires not only developing technology or even training - it requires instilling in all staff at all levels an educational mindset that will allow them to grow and adapt as “it” happens, on an individual and organizational level. I have often heard comments that when it comes to keeping up with change it is not so much a matter of keeping up with technology, but that coping with people’s unwillingness to change is the weakest link in the process.

We are committed to ensuring companies and individuals are able to learn and keep up with the rapid rate of change.
