Hoshin Kanri: management and control of the organization's direction needle or focus.

Objectives - Our facilitator will

  • Ensure clear contribution to, communication of, and understanding of the Company Vision/mission and goals
  • Provide a forum for discussion of we will contribute to these Vision/mission and goals
  • Help the group define the goals and critical steps necessary to reach those goals as a first step to creating ownership and commitment to a shared outcome.
  • Discuss the critical inputs we will commit to and make happen as participants contribution to those agreed outcomes.
  • Define the things the team sees as being critical to change now if they are to reach our goals.
  • Show how to measure progress toward these goals.

The participants will walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of where ‘we’ are going
  • An understanding of what this means to the way ‘we’ currently operate
  • An understanding of what this means for ‘me and my  team’
  • A sense of shared commitment to the team’s and organization’s goals and outcomes
  • An understanding of ‘what happens next?’
