Andrew Grant (BEd Dip Tch) is the Managing Director of Tirian and creative designer of Tirian programs. He has worked with some of the top executives in multinational companies throughout the world, in areas of leadership and team development. He has been in high demand as a keynote speaker & facilitator in over 14 countries, and has successfully worked with over 30 different nationalities. Clients include Accenture, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Cisco Systems, DHL, E&Y, FedEx, Four Seasons Hotels, IBM, HP, MTV and PWC. Gaia Grant (BA Dip Ed BD Hons MEd Hons Cand) is the author of several books, including: "Living in Three Dimensions", "A Patch of Paradise" (Random House) and  "The Rhythm of Life" (Transworld), which examine cross-cultural principles in relationships and work. Gaia’s research and extensive travel to many unique countries has given her an appreciation of society’s values and the affect these have on the individual. Carol Fusek (BA, BSc) has lived and worked in the Asia region since 1991. Prior to joining the Tirian team she worked as a Supply Chain and Customer Service professional and brings with her 26yrs of experience in the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). During her first 11 years in Asia with P&G her responsibilities included developing Customer Teams with major retailers in Australia, creating robust distribution and customer service teams in Malaysia and Singapore, and improving the reliability of snack food imports from the US into Asia. As Associate Director of Customer Service Logistics, Asia, she helped lead a radical organization re-design which led to the creation of a regional Customer Service Logistics centre in Singapore. While at P&G she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for her work leading the development of Customer Service training and mastery across the P&G service teams in Asia.

Originally an architect, Lloyd Irwin (BA, MEd) discovered that he preferred building people rather than structures, and has spent the past 20 years as a leader and trainer in the not-for-profit sector. He has specialized in adult education, cross-cultural communication and personal development, across South East Asia, Australia and internationally. An acknowledged leader, and a skilled communicator and facilitator, Lloyd is passionate about maximizing the potential in people and teams, creating synergy while celebrating individual uniqueness. As a principal of an adult learning college for a number of years Lloyd has demonstrated a high level leadership and management skills.

Wendy Chua K. Wand is a professional in human development and achievement. Wendy has a BA (First-class honors) in Psychology and Education, and is currently working on her MA in Educational Psychology with Simon Fraser University. She is a cognitive coach, accredited by the National Centre for Teaching Thinking (Boston). For the last ten years Wendy has used her background in psychology to design and deliver programs that enhance learning, increase achievements and promote socio-emotional development.

April Swando Hu (MBA BSc) has over fifteen years of executive learning management experience in major countries in Asia.  She is firmly committed to the provision of learner-based, results-oriented, behavioral-oriented experiences for the adult learner. Her strength is being able access a wide range of inputs from e-learning technology to academic accreditation endorsements for high quality, affordable executive development programs. April has served as VP in Business Development for NextEd Limited, a Hong Kong based firm that offers web-based services for the delivery of accredited education programs. From 1999 to 2001, she was CEO to Global University Alliance, which consists of ten universities from around the world providing quality education to corporate and individual students primarily using the Internet. She has worked as a Principal Consultant for PA Consulting Group where she headed the Human Resources Unit to develop customized management assessment and training services for the corporate market.  Previously, she worked with Honeywell and IBM.  She has consulted British Telecom; AT&T; Bristol Myers-Squibb (China); Lufthansa; and Northwest Airlines. She holds a BS Electrical Engineering from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Vivien Eakin comes from a strong background as a corporate executive. She has had 25 years experience in increasingly responsible positions with a major international air carrier based in Hong Kong, culminating in eight years in General Management (the only woman in the firm at this senior level), including Deputy GM with responsibility for 450 people and heading three different Commercial Departments.

Vivien has worked as an Executive Coach since 2000 – coaching many senior level corporate executives and business owners. She has created and delivered a series of courses on coachingwhich have produced spectacular bottom line improvements. Vivien has been filmed by CNN and interviewed in publications such as Asian Wall Street Journal and South China Morning Post, Hong Kong on a variety of coaching topics.

In her coaching Vivien helps business executives to achieve corporate objectives, strengthen their own management capability and that of their staff, and balance their personal and business lives effectively. She is a rational, action oriented coach who combines an attitude towards her own life and that of her clients that is unfailingly positive with a keen focus on results.

Rowena has a degree in Economics and Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources with studies focusing on Negotiation and Mediation, as well as Certificate IV in Life Coaching. Rowena spent 18 years in the corporate world, mostly in the role of Human Resources Manager. During that time she has worked in, and consulted, to organizations in the pharmaceutical, chemical, finance, government, educational and hospitality fields. Rowena has traveled extensively and has consulted and trained in Australia and New Zealand in the areas of Change Management, Leadership and Development. She has had significant experience in developing executive leadership programs and with coaching people to live the life that they want to live.

Fiona has a degree in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics as well as a Masters degree and Pre-Doctoral Diploma in Counseling Psychology from City University London.  She is a chartered counseling psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society. She has extensive clinical experience within the public, private and voluntary sectors of mental health care in the UK.   A specific interest in family systemic therapy and solution-oriented brief therapy has influenced Fiona to focus on the process of change and look at the wider context of problems and solutions.   At an organizational level she has repeatedly set up and developed psychological service provision and integrated psychological knowledge into the  workings of non-psychological organizations, for example, medical departments and more recently a five-star wellness retreat.  She is an experienced educator of adults and has lectured and taught in several British universities,.  She has had significant experience developing, coaching and mentoring others through counseling therapy clients, tutoring students and supervising trainee psychologists as well as facilitating personal development courses and workshops.  Fiona has traveled widely and has been based in Bali for the past six years.

Karolien Vermeiren has 12 years experience in training, counselling and psycho-therapy. She provides training and coaching in communication skills, psycho-social support systems, crisis-intervention, trauma counselling and parenting. She facilitated group processes for diverse audiences in cross-cultural settings and has extensive experiences in individual psycho-therapy. 

Karolien holds a Master in Educational Sciences (Belgium) and has post-graduate education in counselling and psycho-therapy (Contextual Therapy, Gestalt-therapy, Systematic Counselling, EMDR) and has qualifications in facilitation and training.  She has lived and worked in Belgium & Zimbabwe and is currently based in Bali, Indonesia were she works as training consultant, educational advisor, coach and psycho-therapist. Karolien speaks Dutch, English, Indonesian & French.

Dave has personally coached a wide range of coaches from multi-millionaire entrepreneurs to the retrenched, from bankers and top executives to medical professionals and international renowned artists, athletes, singers and dancers. Dave is also President of the Asia Professional Speakers Association.

Dr Martyn Newman (Bapp Sc (PrestonIT) DipEd (LaT) MA (Berkeley) Grad Dip Ed Psych MPsych (Monash) PhD (Syd) MAPS) has developed an international reputation as an expert in unlocking the power of emotional intelligence for business success. As a corporate psychologist he has worked with a variety of companies in building their emotional capital such as GlaxoSmithKiline, Worldcom and Dixons (UK) among others. He is a founding Director of Roche Martin and Byzedium, leadership and management development companies that focuses on releasing the power of people to create more successful businesses by bringing the power of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to the workplace. Judy Purse (BEd Grad Dip Psych) is a consultant psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Counselling Psychologists. She has extensive experience in the areas of leadership performance profiling, personnel selection and workshop facilitation. Judy has a strong background in designing and delivering professional development profiles for companies, including specialist training in the BarOn EQ-i and Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Judy is a director of Roche Martin along with Martyn Newman, and she has co-authored with him a EQ-I Professional program. As a professional trainer she has conducted training workshops for a number or companies, including World Vision and CPA Australia. In the past three years Judy has been responsible for designing and delivering performance reviews for the National Board and the Victorian Divisional Council of CPA Australia. Development Report for leaders, that translates the emotional competencies of the EQ-I into specific workplace strengths and developmental concerns. As a psychologist Judy is also able to provide follow-up to Tirian programs in the form of Leadership Development Reports and Individual Executive Coaching.
