Michael Landers
Michael is an international business relations professional who has conducted business in over 20 countries, including building and growing a consultancy business in Japan, staffing a global advertising conglomerate throughout the EMEA Region, managing an on-going web development project in India, and leading a business and recruiting development initiative in China, Singapore and Latin America. These experiences have left him with a strong understanding of the pitfalls and challenges business professionals may face while working with the global community. After obtaining a B.A. in International Relations, Michael moved to Japan where he taught English and opened a cross-cultural training firm focused on preparing Japanese professionals, and students for life in the United States. Upon returning to the U.S., he obtained a M.A. in Intercultural Training and Management at Lesley University, one of the most highly regarded institutionsfor the study of Intercultural Relations. Michael now regularly facilitates large groups as well as conducting private coaching sessions. He also shares his expertise with others by lecturing at schools and universities internationally on subjects such as intercultural communication, cross-cultural marketing, negotiation, and HR management, among other topics. Michael has worked with top-tier companies in the Finance, IT, Retail, Healthcare, and Electronics arenas, and some recent client projects have included working with Yahoo!, Apple, Samsung, Roche, Novartis, Kaiser Permanente, Amgen, Nike, and Western Digital.
