It is time to accept the truth that learning and training alone are not sufficient to fully develop human resources, despite the substantial effort, in time and money, many organizations have invested in their human resource development programs. The question is: “Are there any other employee developmental methods that can successfully deliver desired learning results?” Today, many organizations in various industries, private and public sector alike, recognize the importance of human resources development and its impact on the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of their organizations. Therefore, they focus and compete more in maximizing the potential and competencies of their people to better respond to the changing pace of organizational innovation where people are the first priority. Arinya Talerngsri, the Managing Director of APMGroup, asserted that, “APMGroup are aware that integrated solutions are vital to the success of human resource development. So, we decided to partner with Tirian, one of the top five Experiential Learning experts from Australia, to license and integrate their new learning methods into the programs of our Development Center.” "APMGroup have searched for training and development tools that will answer all needs, delivering enjoyable and educational learning experiences, and adding to the value of training to elevate people’s development effectiveness to the fullest extent. "People Development Solutions: Paving the Road to Effective Behavioral Change Through Integrated Skills and Knowledge Development.” Mr. Andrew Grant, the Managing Director of Tirian, shared his valuable experiences about people development innovation during the conference. "When we talk about training, some might think of classroom training and a pile of documents. This negative image and perception sometimes hinders training from achieving the desired success and participants don’t feel involved in or value the changes. Being overwhelmed with today’s successes, without looking into future changes, some organizations are not aware that endlessly developing new skills through innovative learning advancement, rather than adopting conventional training, is vital for the ability to be successful in this rapidly changing world. The road to sustainable people development in terms of attitude and competencies begins with creating an awareness of the necessity for change, through experiential learning. Numerous activities such as simulations, games, and outdoor activities, are used to help learners buy into the importance of new skills development. The next milestone is training and learning processes, which will eventually lead to effective skills development and enhancement. ” "Development Center Service" One: FEEL- The Discovery Program. This stage is designed to create positive feelings and attitudes toward behavioral change, through diverse activities such as simulations, games, outdoor activities, and cultural related activities. Two: THINK - The Educational Program. A process of educating and training people to bridge the skills and competencies gaps in alignment with an organization’s development goals. Knowledge gained from this stage will act as a solid foundation for the effective development of learners. Three: ACT - The Development Program. This stage aims at guiding and reinforcing the effective and efficient application of knowledge, gained through consulting and coaching, from experts, which will produce fruitful outcomes in line with an organization’s expectations. I t is undeniable that the Development Center Service is an ideal alternative for developing people skills and behaviors and to fulfill their functional requirements, which will eventually raise an organization’s performance bar to international standards. Evidently, with the Experiential Learning program, leading organizations in Thailand will be ready to spread their wings and make the leap into international competition. It is time to make a move!
