About:

• TNT’s CEO invited his country managers from the region – from India through to Australia – to meet in Japan to strengthen their team.

Purpose:

• Tirian was asked to design a 4 day program to consolidate the team and compliment the existing TNT business content that needed to be covered.

Solution:

• Tirian designed a solid educational integrated program designed to get the team working through issues effectively, so by the final day they could successfully focus on action planning for the year.
• The program included:
• Lateral Golf
• The Sky is Not the Limit
• Collaboration Concept
• Formal and informal facilitation
• Keynote talk on ‘Good to Great’ Leadership

Outcome:

• One measure of the success of the program was the fact that some of the formal facilitation sessions that began early in the afternoon continued into the late hours of the night! Tirian was invited back subsequent years and to roll out some of the topics regionally.

Citigroup / Asia / 15 pax / executive conference

About:

1. Citibank is the world’s largest bank. Citibank Asia relies on a dedicated team of senior economists to deliver research on economics to the rest of the bank both in Asia and internationally.

Purpose:

1. Donald Hanna (MD) wanted to ensure that his team’s communication skills were of the highest standards both within the team and externally.

Solution:

1. For several consecutive years Citigroup’s senior economists from the Asia Pacific region met for a conference and engaged Tirian to develop specific skills on their team, where Andrew and Gaia Grant took them through an integrated program combining Presentation Skills, Creativity, Corporate Identity, DISC profiling and Tirian’s exclusive ‘On Thin ICE’ team building program.
2. Tirian assessed their needs and designed a program that was stimulating in approach and intelligent in content.

Outcomes:

1. The program was very successful in giving the regional team ideas on how to work together as a ’virtual team’, and it exceeded the expectations of even the cynics. The programs were run in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Bali.
