Leaders Vision Retreat

Workshop outline:

The best way to predict the future is to invent it. High performance teams have a clear picture about their basic purpose and share a common set of values, which provides a vision and drives actions towards high performance.
This unique ‘Vision Retreat’ provides the opportunity for enhancing company culture through a practical visioning process. By taking time out to consider the ‘big picture’ and the specific implications for the workplace, individual and organizational growth can be ensured.
Using creative and interactive methods, participants will be challenged to think “outside the box” in organizational thinking and planning through unique learning experiences. 

Program outcomes:

  • Learn to identify and develop strengths, culture and values of the team and company
  • Articulate how to live the company’s core values in everyday work
  • Appreciate concept of creating and implementing a vision
  • Create a vision statement to provide focus
  • Identify major strategic goals for the next one or two years
  • Evaluate current mission statements and / or develop mission and broad strategic plan to prioritize resources and align company systems
  • Instigate spirit of being pro-active, rather than reactive on business issues
  • Build strong team understanding and communication
  • Involve partners, if appropriate, to tap into internal support and create synergies
  • Invite clients, if appropriate, to strengthen relationships and develop long term partnerships

By the end of the sessions, participants will be highly motivated and resourced to make the changes needed to move the organization through to the next level – both personally and as a team.

Sample schedule

PRE-RETREAT

Interviews and questionnaires, as appropriate, will be conducted in order to identify key issues and outcomes to develop the most appropriate agenda.

DAY 1

Tirian facilitators will facilitate discussions to keep communication open and on focus.

Session 1 SEEING THE POSSIBLE: Visioning the future

Session 2 KNOWING WHAT MATTERS: Identifying core values

DAY 2

Session 3 CREATING A FRAMEWORK FOR ACTION: Outlining the mission

Session 4 DESIGNING THE FUTURE: Defining and anchoring the vision

 

POST-RETREAT

A written report will be prepared summarizing the discussions, conclusions and action steps to kick-off action based on the strategies and initiatives identified during the retreat.

Parallel partner program

A unique series of sessions are designed to provide focus for the partners.  Depending on what is required, it can range from fun and relaxation to mastering life tools to tune up and to get into shape mentally, physically and emotionally.
