Over the last 10 years Tirian has identified several core competencies that we believe contribute to creating successful, high performance teams. Good teams don’t just happen by chance, and when extra pressure is placed on them they can be in danger of falling apart (at the time they need to be able to perform the best).

Tirian’s unique CPSTM is a fascinating fictional case study of how an architectural challenge reveals to teams how values drive change. The CPSTM provides a practical model for assessing the current and desired states for shaping the transition process.

The CPS TM maps a companies values, behaviors and actions in  both the current and desired state and then compares the difference. It is a great tool for leaders to gain a picture of their organisation (current and potential) and a perfect way to promote open dialogue and discussion in a safe environment.

This simple to use, 4 page A3 colour document, when combined with a good simulation and facilitation, will help a team discover for themselves how a companies values affects team issues such as creativity, leadership, change management, empowerment and continuous improvement.
