GLC: Global leadership conference keynote and business facilitation

BACKGROUND:

The GLC (Global Leadership Conference for all YPO and WPO members) is conducted annually. This conference was especially important as it was the forum for the inaugural merger discussions between YPO and WPO, to help both organisations look at how they can become more streamlined through the merger process. The Regional Officers workshop consisted of the top 80 members (including the incoming and outgoing chairman and regional officers).

NEEDS:

The participants had a great deal to get through during the day and needed to ensure they stayed focussed, engaged and motivated whilst dealing with important issues. They needed to be able to contribute to the larger conversation involving all 80 people and in small groups.

SOLUTION:

Andrew Grant was asked to kick off the event with a motivational keynote talk titled “Inventing the Future” , and then follow it by moderating the day’s session. The day was closed off with a workshop designed to help participants think about the goals reached and how they will be implemented.

OUTCOMES & FEEDBACK:
