Why change?

Successful organizations maintain a competitive edge through effective development. They have a clear vision, and are able to reach that vision through clearly defined goals. They are progressive because they maximize the potential of both people and processes. Using integrated development strategies, these organizations grow from within. Tirian offers a comprehensive development system for effectively identifying and addressing organizational needs and concerns. We encourage individuals to consider the ways they think, feel and act in the context of the organization. Using a creative multi-dimensional approach, Tirian ensures development is penetrating, holistic, and aligned to the organization’s strategies and goals.

The need for change

A special task force has identified eight critical areas in which managers need to improve their skills. If your team has not yet had the opportunity to develop in each of these areas, they may find it difficult to progress and succeed:

  1. People skills
  2. Leadership skills
  3. Strategic skills
  4. International orientation
  5. Entrepreneurship
  6. Broadening beyond technical specialisation
  7. Relationship building skills
  8. The use of diverse human resources
