SELF-TALK: AN INTRODUCTION
This
talk throws light on how the conscious mind is always involved in
dialogue. Depending on upbringing, education and environment, self-talk
can be “free wheeling”…that is to say….out of control.
Understanding self-talk is to understand that who we are, what we are
and where we are in our lives today is the by-product of our self-talk.
How do you talk to yourself?
How’s
your lifestyle? Overweight? Stressed out? Never enough hours in the day?
Relationship strained? Career on a plateau? Whatever you're feeling and
experiencing is a direct result of your self-talk!! When you understand
and utilize correct self-talk strategies, it’s possible to lose weight
without a diet, rid yourself of stress, improve your relationships and
rise to new heights in your career. It’s all about self-talk.
THE
POWER OF FOCUSING
This
presentation was originally designed for elite athletes. High level performers can
learn to focus the mind and what goes on in it, so that it mimics a
magnifying glass in the sun starting a fire. Intense focus requires
precise and sculptured self-talk. Includes a demonstration on how the
body can immediately react to precise self-talk [lowering the heart rate
to 45 and then surging to 120], this presentation will give an extra
dimension in the quest to be the very best.
IMAGINATION
Here’s
a new perspective on a popular topic. Imagination is not just what goes
on in your brain. Imagination is “cultured” in the mind. Brain?
Mind? So what’s the difference? We go through our lives not
understanding the power of the imagination, both positive and
destructive. The mind doesn’t know the difference between imagination
and reality. Albert Einstein once stated that imagination was more
important than knowledge. By the end of this presentation those
attending will be able to “think” in a whole new way.
THE SUBLIMINAL MIND
Nothing
in the universe is more fascinating, more compelling or complex, than
the workings of the human mind. The “subliminal process” can be used
as a powerful aid in learning, as a therapeutic tool in treating
disorders, banishing fears and phobias, correcting personality disorders
and becoming a better individual. Find out how the human mind can be
programmed for higher performance and intelligence without having to
penetrate the barrier of our critical intelligence.
THE THIRD EAR OF CHILDREN
The
human mind aged two years old to ten years old is like a new computer
awaiting programming. It can go horribly wrong, but doesn’t have to if
you understand “influence”, and John’s unique “third ear”
theory. This is one of the most exciting presentations, providing
wonderful examples and “ready to go” ideas for assisting your
children [as well as parents] to rise to a high sense of
awareness and emotional intelligence.
A MISSION STATEMENT – FOR LIFE
How
many businesses don’t have a Mission Statement, a Charter?
Many!! But why? Surely these companies have goals, have targets, have
purpose. What about the individuals within the company?
A Mission Statement is a must. For the company and for EVERY individual
within the company. Find out how a company and its employees can set a
blazing path of extreme success, by creating individual and team Mission
Statements.
THE OLYMPIC GOLD CEREMONY
This
is an elaborate presentation utilizing video, music and carefully worded
scripts to take participants to their own “Gold Medal” ceremony.
This session is designed only for those with a burning,
passionate desire to be the best, those with an unrelenting
commitment to
excellence, those who eat, breathe and sleep desire, motivation,
determination, courage, persistence and
those who set no limits. An extraordinary
“journey”, but only for extraordinary people.
THE ART OF TAKING CONTROL
By exercising choice you can take control of your life. Would you
like to be in control of the things that happen to you? Do you have the
commitment to change? The secret is, you only have to change one thing –
only one – to be in control. Find out what that is, in a stimulating
presentation suitable for individuals, companies, teams and community
groups.
(This
workshop can be designed as a half day or
a
full day seminar.)
DESERVING TO WIN
Winning
is not coming first!! Winning is about positive self-esteem. It starts
with your childhood, and
is the responsibility of your parents. A company
should be held responsible for the self-esteem of their staff.
Positive self-esteem has been wrongly
interpreted as ego, flamboyance, big headedness or being a show-off
but by
learning the “fine line” which separates these will ensure
that you
understand more about yourself, your team and those around
you.
SELF-EXPECTANCY
This
session presents some incredible biological reasons for our destiny.
Learn about psychosomatic responses and about voodoo. We really do get
what we expect…that’s self-expectancy. “I always get the flu in
July!!”. “At this rate I’ll go broke!!”. “I’ll never make
this month's budget!!” “I can’t see myself doing business with
this guy!!” The body and mind combine together and guarantee to give
us exactly what we expect. Here’s a session to show you how to make
this concept work for you in a positive way.
SIMULATION – THE SYNTHETIC EXPERIENCE
Businessperson, mother, student, athlete, coach, employee…no matter who
you are, simulation must form a part of your EVERY day life. Winners
always simulate, they “do within when they are without”. When you know
how to simulate, you know how to win. We’re just not talking about sport, we’re talking about “life”. Simulation is supported by
self-discipline. This session opens the mind up to a whole new
experience.
ATTITUDE –
THE STEERING WHEEL OF LIFE
Within
each of
us, attitude is something we rarely examine.
If you wanted to examine it would you
even
know what to look for?
Attitude
is the “edge”, and needs to be developed. Attitude is not a gift at
birth, it’s not talent, nor is it IQ. Attitudes cannot be purchased.
How’s your attitude? Attitude is part of the formula for success,
wealth, health and happiness. Let this session fine tune your attitude.
BELIEF
vs. FAITH
As
human beings we crave to believe in “something”, or develop a
“faith”. Is there a difference? For aborigines it may be the
witch-doctor, for millions of Christians it’s “God”, for children
it’s Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, for the sick it’s the
doctors, for the poor it’s destiny, for the rich it’s fortune. If
the truth is to be known, the mind has a “belief system”, developed
from birth and usually left to roam wildly and wrongly. Find out how to
cultivate your beliefs, change your beliefs, master your beliefs…for
in the end; “you are what you believe”.
