About the creators

The designers – Andrew and Gaia Grant have been widely recognized for their creative concepts and dynamic approach to educating individuals and organizations about contemporary issues. They have been interviewed about their experiences in Bali after the bomb for the cover story in HR Monthly (Australia). They also have been interviewed by the Asian Wall Street Journal, have had articles in the Singapore Times and Malaysian Sun, and have featured in a range of international radio and TV programs such as ‘Good Morning Australia’.

Gaia Grant is the author of several books including the newly released ‘A Patch of Paradise’ (Random House) which focuses on the couple’s change of lifestyle in their move from Sydney to Bali and describes the series of events in Indonesia leading up to the bomb.

They are in demand around the region as professional speakers and facilitators, and work with executives from the top multinational organisations. Along with the recent events that have hit this region such as SARS, the Bali bomb, political riots with changes in government and the independence of East Timor, they have also been involved in crisis management during the civil war in El Salvador and the eruption of Mt Pinatubu. A major achievement was the development of a health and drug education program for India and Thailand designed to reach over 25 million children and their communities. They are the directors of TIRIAN.
